Pump Flow Testing

How accurate is your pump performing?

On-site pump performance testing can provide valuable information regarding how accurate the pump is performing versus the manufacturers specification. Particularly for safety equipment, maintenance and proof of operation – this is critical. Not only that, but factory buildings insurance increasingly demands that you can show that vital equipment such pumps not only work but can be shown to deliver the output that they are rated at.

Tests conducted can provide information on actual pump performance and highlight any discrepancies.

By testing your pumping equipment it makes it possible to diagnose problems before the equipment fails. By taking the flow rate and discharge pressure we can plot a system curve which can be compared to the original pump curve.

We use a state of the art ultrasonic flow meters which allow us to test pipes up to 7 meters in diameter. We can test a large variety of liquids with many different pipe materials.

OMNI-TUF-200H series

  • Omni TDI-200H Handheld Ultrasonic Flow Meter.
